Job Summary

We are currently looking to recruit a Pharmacy Manager to lead and oversee the daily operations of our pharmacy. This role is open to experienced pharmacists as well as individuals with a strong background in business management, project management, or operations leadership within a healthcare or retail environment.

Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the pharmacy, ensuring smooth and efficient service delivery.
  • Lead and motivate the team to provide excellent patient care and customer service.
  • Develop and implement business strategies to drive sales, improve performance, and maximize profitability.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations, health and safety standards, and company policies.
  • Manage stock levels, supplier relationships, and procurement processes to ensure the availability of medications and pharmacy products.
  • Handle operational challenges, including workflow optimization, staffing, and customer concerns.
  • Foster a positive working environment and support staff development through training and performance management.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including healthcare professionals and regulatory bodies.


Requirements:

  • Pharmacist qualification or a Degree/HND in business management, project management, or a related field.
  • Experience in pharmacy operations, retail management, healthcare services, or a similar leadership role.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
  • Excellent business acumen and understanding of financial management, sales strategies, and customer service.
  • Knowledge of healthcare regulations, compliance, and best practices in pharmacy operations (preferred but not mandatory).
  • Ability to problem-solve, work under pressure, and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
