Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Female Pharmacy Technician/Assistant to support our pharmacy operations, ensuring accurate and efficient service to customers. Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Prescription Preparation: Accurately label, package, and prepare medications under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist.
- Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels, check for expired medications, and assist with order placement to maintain adequate inventory levels.
- Customer Service: Greet patients, answer basic questions about medications, and manage cash register transactions while maintaining confidentiality and sensitivity to patient needs.
- Pharmacist Assistance: Support the pharmacist in tasks such as maintaining patient records, restocking, and cleaning of the pharmacy and other responsibilities related to running a pharmacy.
Requirements:
- Educational Background: A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Certification or training as a Pharmacy Technician is a plus.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to manage tasks accurately, especially when handling prescriptions and medications.
- Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal skills for effectively interacting with both customers and team members.
- Team Player: Willingness to assist in a variety of tasks and support a collaborative team environment.
