Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications.
- Ensure accurate labeling and packaging of prescriptions.
- Maintain an organized and up-to-date inventory of medications and supplies.
- Verify prescriptions and ensure compliance with pharmacy regulations.
- Provide necessary information to patients regarding medication use.
- Assist in processing insurance claims.
- Ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory guidelines.
- Maintain accurate pharmacy records and documentation.
Requirements:
- OND/HND in Pharmacy Technology or a related field.
- At least 1 year of experience in a pharmacy or hospital setting is an advantage.
- Strong attention to detail and organization.
- Ability to take instructions and execute them efficiently.
- Respect for workplace structure, teamwork, and professional conduct.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- A well-rounded approach to work being good at your job is important, but so is reliability, cooperation, and accountability.
- High level of computer literacy, including experience with pharmacy software and inventory systems.
- A valid Pharmacy Technician license must be readily available.
