Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Physics and Mathematics/Further Mathematics Teacher to join our academic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for teaching and a proven track record of preparing senior secondary school students for SSCE and JAMB examinations. The teacher will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons, providing academic support, and fostering an environment that encourages excellence in learning.

Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive lessons in Physics, Mathematics, and Further Mathematics to senior secondary school students.
- Develop lesson plans, teaching materials, and instructional strategies aligned with curriculum standards.
- Ensure lessons are tailored to address diverse learning styles and abilities.
- Prepare students thoroughly for SSCE (WAEC/NECO) and JAMB examinations.
- Conduct regular assessments, mock exams, and revision sessions to track and improve student performance.
- Provide insights into examination techniques and time management.
- Identify and address learning challenges faced by students.
- Provide additional support to struggling students through extra coaching or after-school sessions.
- Mentor students on academic and career pathways related to Physics and Mathematics.
- Maintain a positive and disciplined learning environment.
- Establish clear rules and expectations to promote a productive classroom culture.
- Stay updated with the latest teaching methodologies and curriculum changes.
- Participate in teacher training programs and workshops to enhance skills.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Physics, Mathematics, or a related field. A Master’s degree is an added advantage.
- Teaching qualification (PGDE, NCE, or equivalent certification).
- Minimum of 2-5 years of teaching experience at the senior secondary school level.
- Proven track record of preparing students for SSCE and JAMB examinations with outstanding results.
- Strong knowledge of Physics, Mathematics, and Further Mathematics curriculum.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to use technology and teaching aids to enhance learning.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills to address individual and group learning challenges.
- Strong classroom management skills and ability to motivate students.
- Passion for education and commitment to student success.
- Ability to work collaboratively with other staff and school administration.
- Willingness to participate in extracurricular activities and school programs.
