Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Distribute food and water to pigs.
- Observe pigs for signs of illness and administer medication as needed.
- Clean and maintain pigpens and facilities.
- Assist with breeding and farrowing (birth) processes.
- Monitor ventilation and temperature conditions in pig housing.
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment and facilities.
- Assist with the transportation of pigs to farms or processing plants.
- Maintain accurate records of pig health and production data.
