Piping Foreman

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of piping crew members on-site.
• Interpret construction drawings, plans, and specifications to guide installation.
• Ensure proper alignment, support, and installation of pipes, valves, and fittings.
• Oversee cutting, threading, bending, and welding of pipes.
• Allocate tasks to workers and monitor progress against project schedules.
• Inspect work to ensure compliance with project drawings, codes, and safety standards.
• Ensure availability of materials, tools, and equipment needed for the work.
• Liaise with engineers, supervisors, and other trades for smooth workflow.
• Maintain safety standards and ensure crew adherence to health and safety regulations.
• Prepare and submit daily progress reports and documentation.
• Train and mentor junior workers or new hires as needed.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification in piping is a plus.
• Minimum of 3–7 years of experience in industrial or construction piping, including leadership experience.
• Solid knowledge of piping systems, materials, tools, and construction methods.
• Ability to read and interpret piping isometric drawings and blueprints.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
• Familiar with applicable safety regulations (e.g., OSHA or equivalent).
• Precommissioning experience

Working Conditions:

• Construction sites, industrial plants, or oil & gas facilities.
• Exposure to outdoor weather, noise, and physically demanding tasks.
• May require overtime or shift work depending on project demands.
