Plumber

Responsibilities:

• Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, fittings, and water heaters.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot plumbing problems such as leaks, clogs, and faulty installations.
• Read and interpret blueprints and building specifications to map the layout for pipes, drainage systems, and other plumbing components.
• Assemble, install, and repair pipes, fittings, and fixtures of heating, water, and drainage systems.
• Perform routine maintenance and inspections of plumbing systems to ensure they are functioning properly.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and national plumbing codes and safety standards.
• Collaborate with other construction professionals such as electricians, HVAC technicians, and contractors to complete projects on time and within budget.
• Provide excellent customer service by explaining plumbing issues and solutions to clients in a clear and professional manner.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a plumber.
• A valid Plumbing Certification or Diploma in Plumbing Technology or a related field.
• Proven ability to install, maintain, and repair plumbing systems and components.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, technical drawings, and building specifications.
• Knowledge of plumbing codes and regulations with the ability to ensure compliance.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills to diagnose plumbing issues.
• Physical stamina to perform manual labor, including lifting and working in various environments.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills to interact with clients and explain solutions.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with other professionals in construction or renovation projects.
• Flexibility to work in a variety of settings, including residential, commercial, or industrial sites.
