Plumber

Responsibilities:

• Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, including pipes, valves, fittings, drainage systems, and fixtures.
• Read and interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications to determine the layout of plumbing systems.
• Diagnose plumbing issues, identify problems, and implement effective solutions.
• Test plumbing systems for leaks and other problems using pressure gauges and other testing equipment.
• Cut, assemble, and install pipes and tubes with attention to existing infrastructure.
• Collaborate with contractors, electricians, and other construction professionals to ensure that projects are completed efficiently and according to code.
• Comply with local, state, and federal plumbing codes, building regulations, and safety standards.
• Provide cost estimates for plumbing repairs or installation jobs.
• Maintain accurate records of all installations, repairs, and service work performed.
• Respond to emergency plumbing calls as required.
• Ensure work areas are cleaned and cleared of any hazardous materials before leaving the site.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a plumber or in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, materials, and equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
• Proficient in using plumbing tools and equipment, such as pipe wrenches, cutters, and gauges.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Good physical condition and strength, with the ability to work in confined spaces or at heights.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
