Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems (pipes, valves, drainage, and fixtures) across the facility.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot plumbing issues such as leaks, blockages, and low water pressure.
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on plumbing systems to avoid costly repairs.
- Collaborate with other maintenance staff to address multi-disciplinary maintenance tasks.
- Interpret blueprints and building specifications to map out and execute plumbing installations and repairs.
- Ensure compliance with local plumbing codes, safety regulations, and industry standards.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Vocational training or apprenticeship in plumbing is preferred.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, water supply networks, and drainage systems.
- Comfortable working in confined spaces or at height.
