Treasury Officer

Job Title: Treasury Officer 

Location: Lagos 

Job Summary 

We are seeking a Treasury Officer to join our Lagos team. To oversee cash and bank operations across the regions (both cash requests by staff & I-shop collections) & maintain a close relationship with Bank contacts. 

Responsibilities: 

Staff Advance and Claims: 

• Upload requests on payment gateways for direct disbursement to staff  
• Daily reconciliation of requests  
• Weekly expenses report to Management  
• Posting of daily entries (Claims and Advances)  
• Reports and Analysis 

Posting of Cheque Payment vouchers: 

• Payment voucher process and reporting 

Bank reconciliation 

• Prepare Bank reconciliation statements  
• Resolution of O/S bank reconciliation items 

Bank Balance report 

I-shop 

• Collection of daily sales  
• Banking of daily sales  
• Daily reports from across the regions 

Liaise with Bank account officers 

• Arrange and process bank documents and other required information 

Receipts for Cheques/funds received:  

• Make entries, print & file/upload on Document Management System 

Others: As HOD deems fit 

Qualification and Experience: 

• BSc Accounting or BSc Economics (2nd Class Upper/Upper Credit minimum)  
• 2-5 years post qualification experience 
• ACA or ACCA  
• Communication Skills  
• Analytical Skills  
• Ability to Multitask  
• Exhibit good judgement 
• Pay attention to details
