Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive PR strategies aligned with client objectives.
- Act as the primary liaison between clients and the agency, ensuring their needs are met and expectations exceeded.
- Oversee the planning, execution, and evaluation of PR campaigns, including media outreach, press releases, and events.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, media professionals, and influencers.
- Manage influencer partnerships, including sourcing, negotiating, and ensuring alignment with client goals.
- Lead and mentor the PR team, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment.
- Handle multiple projects and deadlines effectively, ensuring quality delivery across all accounts.
- Monitor industry trends, PR analytics, and campaign performance to provide actionable insights.
- Drive business growth by identifying new opportunities and fostering entrepreneurial initiatives.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- A master’s degree or additional certifications in PR are a plus.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in public relations, preferably in an agency setting
- Demonstrated success in managing high-profile campaigns, media relations, and leading teams
- Must have completed NYSC or have an exemption letter.
- Strong understanding of PR strategies, media relations, and influencer marketing.
- Proficiency in PR tools, including media monitoring platforms and analytics software.
- Experience with crafting and managing PR briefs, press releases, and communication materials.
- Knowledge of social media platforms and their role in PR and influencer engagement.
- Ability to analyze data to measure campaign performance and provide actionable recommendations.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a people-first mindset.
- Strong leadership abilities to inspire and manage teams effectively.
