Job Summary
We are looking to hire a responsible Pre-school Teacher who will provide a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for young children (ages 3-5) to help them develop foundational social, emotional, cognitive, and physical skills, plan and implement age-appropriate educational activities, promote positive learning experiences, and foster creativity and curiosity in children
- Minimum Qualification : High School (S.S.C.E)
- Experience Level : Entry level
- Experience Length : 2 years
Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Adapt guidance plans for children.
- Aid in a culture of constant learning and teamwork.
- Carry out proper action for the protection of children.
- Carry out teaching and learning plans to meet the diverse needs of children.
- Co-lead team projects with people involved with the school.
- Design quality learning environments.
- Engage children via a specific curriculum and the use of proper teaching methods.
- Follow health, safety, nutritional, and hygiene standards and rules.
- Guide colleagues to take part in constant learning and reflective practices.
- Impart the core values of an early childhood education via classroom curriculum.
- Improve home-centered partnerships.
- Raise the level of trust and respect with children via interaction.
- Refine classroom management plans, and watch and document children’s learning.
- Refine teaching and learning ways that follow curriculum frameworks.
- Review and plan performance and behaviour.
- Show ethics and professionalism.
- Understand the learning and developmental needs of young children (birth to age 8).
- Uphold the vision, mission and values of the centre
Requirements:
- Minimum of S.S.C.E
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in similar role
