Primary School Teacher

Responsibilities:

• Planning and delivering engaging and age-appropriate lessons across various subjects (e.g., language arts, mathematics, science, social studies) in accordance with the curriculum guidelines.
• Differentiating instruction to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities within the classroom.
• Assessing student progress through various methods (tests, quizzes, projects, observations) and using assessment data to adjust teaching strategies and provide targeted support.
• Identifying and addressing individual learning needs by providing additional support or challenges as required.
• Collaborating with fellow teachers, school staff, and administrators to share best practices, resources, and ideas.
• Maintaining open and effective communication with parents or guardians.
• Providing updates on students' academic progress, behaviour, and participation.

Requirements:

• NCE, Diploma, HND or Bachelor Degree in relevant field of study
• Previous experience teaching at the primary school level is preferred.
• Experience in developing and implementing curriculum-aligned lesson plans.
• Strong understanding of the primary school curriculum and child development.
• Knowledge of educational best practices and instructional strategies.
• Familiarity with assessment methods and student progress tracking
• Experience in British curriculum is an added advantage.
