About the Role

The Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) will lead a creative and dedicated team of Directors (Communications, Design, Martech, and Supporter Initiatives), driving all aspects of our marketing strategy. You’ll be at the forefront of shaping and sharing the Yuvoice story, ensuring our message reaches the right audience at the right time. Working closely with the CEO and COO, you’ll develop high-impact campaigns, foster collaboration across teams, and track our progress using data-driven insights.

What You’ll Do

As the CMO, you will:

• Shape Yuvoice’s Marketing Strategy: Lead the charge in developing, executing, and refining marketing strategies that elevate Yuvoice’s brand and engage supporters worldwide.
• Oversee and Inspire the Marketing Team: Provide strategic direction to our Directors of Communications, Design, Martech, and Supporter Initiatives, ensuring alignment and collaboration.
• Drive Engagement and Fundraising: Build compelling campaigns that not only raise awareness but also drive participation and fundraising to support Yuvoice’s growth.
• Analyse and Adapt: Use data and analytics to refine our marketing efforts, optimize performance, and keep Yuvoice’s mission at the forefront of every campaign.
• Collaborate Across Departments: Partner with other Yuvoice teams—Editorial, Fundraising, Product—to ensure seamless integration of marketing strategies across the organization.

What We’re Looking For

To succeed in this role, you should bring:

• Experience in Marketing Leadership: Proven track record in developing and leading marketing strategies, preferably within a nonprofit, tech, or start-up environment.
• Creativity and Data Savvy: A balance of creativity and analytical thinking, with the ability to craft engaging campaigns while leveraging data to drive decisions.
• Strong Leadership Skills: Ability to lead and inspire a diverse team of creatives, strategists, and tech wizards, all while keeping projects on track.
• Passion for Social Impact: A deep commitment to using your skills to drive change and help build a community that uplifts marginalized voices.
