Job Summary
Our client seeks a Process Manager to design, implement, and optimize internal operational systems and digital infrastructure to support the organisation's strategic objectives. This role ensures efficiency in the organisation's internal workflows, data management, automation, and integration across different teams while eliminating bottlenecks and redundancies. The Process Manager will not directly manage program execution but will create operational frameworks that enable smooth implementation of school transformation, thought leadership, M&E, and capacity-building initiatives. The ideal candidate has strong experience in process automation, digital infrastructure, workflow optimization, and data management within the education, development, or non-profit sectors.

Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
Systems Design and Process Optimization:
- Develop and refine internal workflows to improve efficiency across all the organization's departments.
- Standardize document management, reporting, and internal communications systems.
- Identify operational bottlenecks and implement scalable solutions.
- Establish best practices for workflow automation and digital transformation.
Data Management and Integration:
- Oversee data architecture, integration, and database management to support the organization's programs.
- Work with the M&E team to automate data collection, reporting, and visualization.
- Ensure seamless information flow across the organization's school transformation, advocacy, and thought leadership initiatives.
- Implement knowledge management tools to support institutional learning.
Digital Infrastructure and Technology Integration:
- Identify and deploy digital solutions that enhance the organization's internal efficiency (e.g., cloud storage, automated dashboards, collaboration tools).
- Manage and optimize project management software and knowledge-sharing platforms.
- Ensure data security, system backups, and compliance with digital governance policies.
Internal Coordination and Operational Support:
- Support cross-functional teams by creating systems that enhance coordination between departments.
- Design internal reporting templates and automation to minimize administrative overhead.
- Ensure alignment between systems development and the organization's strategic priorities.
Organizational Capacity Building:
- Train staff on new systems, digital tools, and process improvements.
- Develop SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) for all major internal operations.
- Document lessons learned and best practices for continuous organizational improvement.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Systems Engineering, Business Process Management, Information Systems, Data Science, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in systems development, operations optimization, or digital transformation, preferably in the education, nonprofit, or public sector.
- Strong experience in workflow automation, digital tools integration, and knowledge management.
- Experience working with data-driven decision-making tools and performance-tracking systems.
- Familiarity with education sector operations and institutional reforms is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving and process improvement mindset.
- Proficiency in project management and digital collaboration tools.
Preferred Skills & Attributes:
- Experience in automating operational workflows and document management.
- Ability to translate complex administrative challenges into structured, scalable solutions.
- Knowledge of data security policies, compliance, and governance.
- Strong analytical, technical, and systems-thinking capabilities.
Location: Lagos, Nigeria (with travel as needed)
