Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:
  • Identify, evaluate, and manage relationships with suppliers and contractors for Minka Estates Ltd
  • Negotiate favorable terms and conditions with suppliers to ensure cost-effectiveness and quality.
  • Collaborate with Engineers and the teams to determine material requirements for all ongoing and upcoming projects.
  • Source and procure materials within budgetary constraints and project timeline
  • Negotiate pricing and payment terms to optimize cost savings while maintaining good quality standards.
  • Work closely with finance and project management teams to ensure procurement activities align with project budgets.
  • Establish and enforce quality standards for procured goods and services.
  • Monitor and address any issues related to product quality or service delivery.
  • Monitor and manage inventory levels materials and supplies.
  • Coordinate with project teams to avoid shortages or excess stock.
  • Stay informed about market trends, pricing, and new products/services relevant to the Company.
  • Provide monthly recommendations on cost-effective procurement strategies.
  • Maintain accurate records of procurement transactions and supplier information
  • Generate regular reports on procurement activities, cost savings, and vendor performance.
  • Generate weekly reports on materials used and the remaining inventory in the store.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in procurement, ideally within the real estate or construction industry.
  • Solid understanding of procurement processes, vendor management, and negotiation skills.
  • Detail-oriented, with strong analytical and organizational abilities.
