Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Develop procurement strategies aligned with project budgets and timelines.
- Source and evaluate suppliers based on price, quality, and reliability.
- Negotiate supplier contracts, ensuring favorable terms and conditions.
- Manage inventory levels and coordinate logistics to prevent project delays.
- Ensure compliance with procurement regulations and company policies.
- Maintain accurate procurement records and generate reports for management.
- Collaborate with project teams to forecast material needs and procurement plans.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in procurement, preferably in construction.
- Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
- Proficiency in procurement software (SAP, Oracle, or similar).
- Membership with CIPS (Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply) is an added advantage.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple procurement demands.
