Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
Market Research and Analysis:
- Conduct thorough market research to understand customer needs, preferences, and trends within the Nigerian market.
- Analyze competitive products, identifying opportunities and potential threats to our Company's market share.
- Gather insights on pricing, features, and distribution channels to inform product strategy.
Product Strategy and Planning:
- Define product vision, positioning, and roadmap aligned with business objectives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., marketing, sales, operations, and design) to ensure cohesive product planning and execution.
- Develop product specifications, launch strategies, and timelines based on market needs and company goals.
Product Development and Launch:
- Work closely with R&D, engineering, and manufacturing teams to guide the development process from concept to launch.
- Oversee testing and quality assurance of new and updated products to ensure they meet performance and quality standards.
- Lead product launch efforts, coordinating with marketing and sales teams to maximize impact.
Sales and Marketing Support:
- Develop product-related sales and marketing materials, ensuring effective communication of product value and benefits.
- Train sales teams on product features, specifications, and competitive advantages.
- Monitor and analyze product performance metrics, using data to adjust strategies as needed.
Lifecycle Management:
- Manage product lifecycle from introduction to end-of-life, planning for new versions or phase-outs as necessary.
- Implement pricing and promotional strategies to optimize sales performance and profitability.
- Gather and interpret customer feedback to identify product improvements and new feature ideas.
Stakeholder Management:
- Maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to align product goals and objectives.
- Regularly update senior management on product performance, challenges, and opportunities.
Requirements:
- 5 years experience
- Minimum of HND
