Our teams work in hybrid and remote modes across the world. We have offices in Lagos Nigeria and Amsterdam Netherlands.
Role Overview
We are seeking a smart, data-driven, and creative Product Marketing Manager to lead our marketing efforts in Nigeria. The initial focus of this role will be to launch Platos products, build our brand, and drive marketing initiatives that support sales through our partners including pharmacies.
Responsibilities
- Product Launch: Lead the launch strategy for Platos products, ensuring the product resonates with both channel partners and individuals managing metabolic conditions.
- Product Positioning: Develop clear and compelling product positioning and messaging that speaks to the target audience (people living with metabolic conditions) and channel partners such as pharmacies.
- Brand Development: Help establish and grow the Platos Health brand in Nigeria, ensuring consistency across digital channels and in-store promotions.
- Website Renewal: Oversee the revamp of the Platos Health website to align with our product and brand goals, ensuring the messaging is clear and user-centric.
- Campaign Management:
- Plan and execute content-driven campaigns to drive in-store sales at pharmacy partners.
- Develop marketing campaigns to drive traffic to partner stores and increase product adoption.
- Content Creation: Collaborate with agencies or content teams to create engaging, educational materials that support product launches and customer engagement.
- Sales Support: Work closely with the sales team to support medical screenings, help onboard new pharmacy partners, and ensure seamless communication of the product’s value to end users.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with product, sales, and design teams to ensure product features and benefits are effectively communicated in all marketing channels.
Required skills:
- Proven Product Marketing Experience: 3-5 years of experience in product marketing, with a track record of successfully launching new products and managing go-to-market strategies.
- Strong Messaging and Positioning: Ability to craft clear, impactful product messaging that resonates with target customers and drives adoption.
- Digital Marketing Expertise: Proficient in digital marketing, including content marketing, social media, and email marketing, with experience running multi-channel campaigns.
- Data-driven: Skilled in analysing marketing performance, using tools like Google Analytics, Hotjar, and Heap Analytics to measure and optimize campaigns.
- Collaboration Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven ability to work cross-functionally with product, sales, and design teams.
- Creativity and Problem-Solving: Demonstrated ability to come up with creative solutions to marketing challenges, especially in resource-constrained environments.
- Understanding of the Nigerian Market: Familiarity with the Nigerian market, especially the healthcare and pharmacy sectors, is a strong plus.
Preferred skills
- Experience working in the healthcare, health tech, or consumer tech industry
- Experience with tech-driven marketing tools such as email automation and content management platforms.
