We are searching for a highly dedicated and motivated Production Manager to manage the day to day operations of the company's manufacturing facility to ensure all manufacturing and production jobs are completed in accordance with the time, cost and quality requirements needed to meet customers expectations.

Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Manage production strategic planning and implementation.
- Monitor and direct the performance of subordinates to ensure targets are achieved.
- Implement initiatives to achieve and maintain world-class standards for production.
- Consistently ensure the safety and welfare of all staff.
- Ensure that departmental costs, efficiency, and quality targets are achieved and maintained.
- Create daily and monthly reports.
- React to production line stoppages and breakdowns immediately.
- Ensure smooth running of all production departments.
- Monitor and measure productivity, goals and activity levels.
- Research new technologies & alternative methods of efficiency.
- Work with managers to implement company policies and goals.
- Liaise among different departments e.g suppliers, managers, HR, etc
- Implement and monitor standard operating procedures for production operations.
- Monitor product standards and implement quality control programs.
- Oversee the production process and prepare a production schedule.
- Monitor the production processes and adjust schedules as needed.
- Ensure that production is cost-effective.
- Decide what resources and raw materials are needed for production.
- Draft a timescale for each job.
- Implement machine maintenance schedule.
- Ensure that health and safety guidelines are followed.
- Ensure that all staff wear their PPE(safety boots, safety goggles, and ear plugs at all times on the production floor).
- Maintain good housekeeping practices.
- Identify training needs for staff.
- Review workers' performance.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree (B.Sc.) in Operations Management, Industrial/Manufacturing Engineering, Polymer Engineering or related field.
- 5 - 10 years managerial experience in Production Management in a plastics manufacturing industry
- Excellent critical thinking skills and leadership qualities.
- Delegating tasks and responsibilities.
- Conflict Management.
- Planning and organizing.
- Must be articulate.
- Good communication skills both written and verbal.
- Problem analysis and solving.
- Good team working skills.
- Computer Literacy
- MS office and reading of CAD or blueprint drawings.
