Production Operations Technician

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for day-to-day operational activities, such as monitoring, startup, and shutdown of process equipment, etc. 
• Optimize operational equipment such as compressors, pumps, FPSO tank-related work, etc.
• Perform troubleshooting and first-line maintenance on process equipment and cascades to the maintenance team for repairs
• Communicates production problems and equipment repair requirements, as appropriate.
• Supports maintenance personnel with isolation & desolation of equipment for repairs and startup.
• Assists in organizing and directing preventative maintenance and housekeeping activities.
• Performs other duties as assigned by supervision.
• Maintains work areas in a clean, orderly, and safe manner.
• Compliance with all health and safety policies, procedures, practices, and regulations.

Requirements:

• A degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or Process Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in process operations within a similar industry.
• Strong technical knowledge of compressors, pumps, and FPSO tank systems.
• Ability to perform troubleshooting and basic maintenance tasks.
• Familiarity with health and safety regulations in an industrial setting.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow operational procedures.
• Willingness to work in a physically demanding environment with rotating shifts.
