Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Professional Association Manager to lead the operations of an IT Association based in Abuja. The ideal candidate will be passionate about the IT industry, with a proven track record in association management, member engagement, and securing sponsorships.

Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the day-to-day operations of the IT Association, ensuring efficient management and exceptional member experience.
  • Develop and implement innovative strategies to engage, and retain association members.
  • Oversee membership administration, including renewals, engagement campaigns, and personalized member services.
  • Cultivate and maintain strategic partnerships and sponsorships to ensure sustainable financial support for association initiatives.
  • Organize and coordinate high-impact events, conferences, webinars, and training programs that provide value to members.
  • Serve as the primary contact for members, sponsors, and external stakeholders, fostering strong relationships and open communication.
  • Ensure the effective management of the association’s digital presence, including the website, social media channels, and member communications.
  • Manage the association’s budget, ensuring financial stability through careful planning of membership fees, sponsorships, and event revenue.
  • Stay abreast of the latest trends in IT and incorporate them into the association’s activities to ensure relevance and value to members.
  • Prepare and present comprehensive reports on key performance indicators (KPIs), including membership growth, event success, and sponsorship outcomes.
  • Represent the association at industry events, conferences, and forums to raise awareness and build relationships within the IT community.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in managing a professional association, preferably within the IT sector, with a deep understanding of industry dynamics.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with diverse stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated success in securing sponsorships and managing membership programs.
  • Exceptional organizational and project management skills, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Experience in event coordination and delivering successful member-focused initiatives.
  • Ability to think strategically, innovate, and drive the association’s growth.
