Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Operate company vehicles in a safe and efficient manner.
- Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Plan and follow efficient routes to ensure timely deliveries.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption.
- Provide excellent customer service and address any customer inquiries or concerns.
- Report any vehicle maintenance or repair needs promptly.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures.
Requirements:
- Valid driver’s license.
- Proven experience as a professional driver with a clean driving record.
- Strong knowledge of local and regional roadways in Lagos.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks effectively.
- Physical ability to lift and carry items as required.
- Basic understanding of vehicle upkeep like checking oil, tire pressure, lights, and fluid levels.
- Proficiency with GPS systems, route planning, and maps to find efficient routes.
