Job Summary
FHSA is seeking a dynamic and experienced Program Lead (Access to Market and Market Information) to join the team for a donor-funded project, Advancing Nutrition Through Female-Led Food Processing (ANTFem) in Nigeria. The Program Lead, Access to Market and Market Information will be responsible for spearheading initiatives to facilitate market entry and expansion, while also gathering, analyzing, and disseminating critical market information in collaboration with the partnered food processing MSMEs to inform strategic decisions by the businesses. This dual-focused role requires expertise in market dynamics, customer insights, regulatory environments, and competitive intelligence. The Program Lead will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop market strategies and ensure the successful implementation of activities that enhance market access and leverage market information for partner MSMEs involved in food processing that target low-income consumers in the five selected states of Nigeria - Lagos, Oyo, Ogun (Southwest), Anambra (Southeast), and Kaduna (Northwest). The successful candidate will operate from the Lagos office.

Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning and Execution:
- Develop and implement comprehensive strategies for market access and information management.
- Identify and evaluate new market opportunities and entry points for selected value chains.
- Create and manage project plans to support market entry and expansion.
Market Research and Analysis:
- Conduct thorough market research to understand market trends, customer needs, and competitive dynamics.
- Analyze regulatory and reimbursement landscapes to identify barriers and opportunities.
- Develop market access forecasts, models, and actionable insights.
Market Information Management:
- Establish systems and processes for the collection, analysis, and dissemination of market information.
- Monitor and report on market developments, competitor activities, and industry trends.
- Provide actionable insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making.
Cross-functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with technology and operation excellence programs to align market access strategies with business objectives.
- Facilitate communication and coordination between different units to ensure cohesive strategy execution.
Stakeholder Engagement:
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, regulatory bodies, and industry partners.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and meetings.
- Engage with external market research firms and consultants as needed.
Regulatory and Compliance:
- Ensure all market access strategies comply with relevant regulations and standards.
- Stay up-to-date with regulatory changes and adapt strategies accordingly.
Performance Monitoring and Reporting:
- Establish KPIs to measure the success of market access and information initiatives.
- Monitor performance and provide regular updates to senior management.
- Adjust strategies based on performance data and market feedback.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, or a related field.
- Advanced degree (MBA, MSc. Marketing, MSc. Economics, etc.) preferred.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in market access, business development, market research, or a related field particularly in the FMCG industry.
- Proven track record of successfully developing and implementing market access and information strategies.

The project aims at implementing a three-year gender-transformative program that offers tailored technical, business, and financial assistance to Nigerian Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) food processors, enhancing their capacity to deliver affordable, safe, and nutritious products to low-income consumers (LICs) in Anambra, Kaduna, Lagos, Ogun and Oyo states of Nigeria.
