Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
Program Support and Coordination:
- Assist in the development, planning, and implementation of Vinsighte's product distribution programs.
- Coordinate logistics for program-related events, training sessions, and advocacy campaigns.
- Maintain records of program activities, and track program timelines and milestones.
Partnerships and Outreach:
- Support the establishment and management of relationships with schools, inclusive of education centers, community organizations, and advocacy groups.
- Work closely with the program partners and stakeholders in these schools and communities to ensure clear communication and successful program implementation.
- Identify new partnership opportunities to scale Vinsighte's impact in Nigeria and communicate to necessary stakeholders.
Monitoring and Evaluation:
- Assist in data collection, analysis, and reporting on program metrics to track and assess impact in schools, organizations and communities for the blind.
- Gather feedback from program participants, including students, teachers, and (parents), to improve the use of Visis.
- Contribute to the preparation of progress reports, and impact stories for internal and external stakeholders.
Communications and Advocacy:
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop content and materials that promote Vinsighte's programs and achievements
- Represent Vinsighte at educational and social impact events, both in person and virtually, as required / directed.
- Contribute to Vinsighte’s advocacy efforts that raise awareness about accessibility and the importance of inclusive education.
Administrative Support:
- Manage program documentation, including agreements, work plans, budgets, and other relevant documents.
- Organize and maintain a central repository of program materials, resources, and communications.
- Support the Director in preparing presentations, proposals, and communications for strategic meetings.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Social Sciences, Education, Public Health, Development Studies, or related fields.
- At least 1-2 years of experience in program coordination, social impact, or nonprofit management.
- Strong organizational and project management skills, with attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace; familiarity with project management tools is a plus.
- Demonstrated interest in social impact, education, and/or assistive technology.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a dynamic, mission-driven environment.
