Job Summary
CAIN (Catering to Africans in Need) Educational Foundation is a non-profit dedicated to empowering underprivileged African children and youth with quality education and essential skills to break the cycle of poverty. As we expand our impact, we are seeking a highly skilled and results-driven Programs Manager to lead our initiatives, drive strategic growth, and ensure effective program execution.

Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Fundraising & Grant Management: Secure significant funding through successful grant proposals, partnerships, and donor engagement. Develop and implement robust fundraising strategies.
- Strategic Leadership: Lead the execution of CAIN’s mission and strategic objectives, ensuring measurable impact and growth.
- Program Oversight: Design, implement, and scale high-impact educational programs across multiple African countries.
- Financial & Resource Management: Oversee budgets, financial planning, and reporting to maximize resources and sustainability.
- Stakeholder & Partnership Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with local and global donors, NGOs, government agencies, and corporate sponsors.
- Operations & Team Management: Supervise staff, volunteers, and project teams, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations and program execution.
- Research & Innovation: Stay updated on education sector trends, best practices, and innovative solutions to enhance CAIN’s impact.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Education, Social Sciences, Nonprofit Management, Business, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in program management, nonprofit leadership, fundraising, or a similar role.
- Proven track record of raising significant funds through grant writing, corporate sponsorships, and major donor contributions.
- Exceptional stakeholder management skills with experience engaging global funders, policymakers, and corporate partners.
- Strong financial management expertise with experience managing budgets exceeding $250,000, overseeing multi-year funding, grant reporting, and ensuring donor compliance.
- Leadership & Team Management – Ability to inspire, lead, and develop high-performing teams.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills with ample public speaking experience.
- Passion for education, social impact, and a strong commitment to CAIN’s mission.

Job Type: Full-Time (1-year contract, renewable)
