Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Project Cost Controller at Texford Services Limited in Lagos. The Project Cost Controller will be responsible for cost control, cost accounting, financial analysis, cost management, and ensuring efficient project financial management on a day-to-day basis.
Key Responsibility
1. COST MANAGEMENT:
· Develop, implement, and maintain project cost management plans, policies, and procedures.
· Establish and maintain project cost budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses.
· Monitor and control project expenditures, identifying and addressing cost overruns.
· Conduct cost-benefit analyses and provide recommendations for cost optimization
2. FINANCIAL REPORTING
· Prepare and submit accurate and timely project financial reports (e.g., cost reports, forecasts).
· Develop and maintain project financial models, spreadsheets, and databases.
· Analyze and interpret financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
3. COST ESTIMATING AND BUDGETING:
· Develop and maintain project cost estimates and budgets.
· Conduct cost risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies.
· Identify and quantify cost contingencies.
4. CONTRACT MANAGEMENT:
· Review and analyze contracts, purchase orders, and agreements.
· Ensure compliance with contractual terms and conditions.
· Manage contractor and vendor relationships.
5. Auditing and Compliance:
· Ensure compliance with organizational policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
· Conduct audits and reviews to ensure accuracy and compliance.
· Identify and address potential compliance risks.
Qualifications
- Cost Control, Cost Accounting, and Cost Management skills
- Analytical Skills and Finance knowledge
- Ability to analyze financial data and generate reports
- Experience in project cost control and budget management
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Professional certification in Cost Accounting or related field is a plus
Require Skills
