Project Manager

Responsibilities:

Project Planning and Design:

• Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, resource allocation, and budget estimations.
• Review and interpret project specifications, drawings, and technical documents.
• Conduct feasibility studies and design calculations to ensure project viability. 

Technical Execution:

• Oversee on-site construction activities, ensuring compliance with project plans and technical standards.
• Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate with contractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of project deliverables. 

Quality Control:

• Implement quality control procedures to ensure the project meets required specifications and safety standards.
• Conduct regular inspections and quality checks throughout the project lifecycle. 

Budget Management:

• Track project expenses and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Manage the project budget to ensure cost-effective execution within allocated funds. 

Team Leadership:

• Lead and mentor a team of engineers, technicians, and site personnel.
• Foster effective communication and collaboration within the project team. 

Compliance and Regulatory Adherence:

• Ensure project compliance with relevant Nigerian building codes, environmental regulations, and safety standards.
• Obtain necessary permits and approvals from regulatory bodies. 

Requirements:

• Minimum of Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of proven work experience.
• Professional registration with the Council for Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN) is preferred.
• Strong technical knowledge in relevant engineering disciplines.
• Proven experience in project management methodologies.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in relevant engineering software (e.g., AutoCAD, Project management tools).
