Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Project Engineer to join our construction team. The Project Engineer will play a pivotal role in planning, coordinating, and overseeing construction projects to ensure they are completed on time, within scope, and on budget.

Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:

Project Planning and Coordination:
  • Collaborate with the Project Manager and design team to develop detailed project plans and schedules.
  • Assist in defining project scope, goals, and deliverables.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers to ensure project requirements are met.


Technical Support:

  • Review engineering plans, drawings, and specifications to ensure compliance with project requirements.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to construction teams during project execution.
  • Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor progress and resolve technical issues.


Cost and Budget Management:

  • Prepare and track budgets, cost estimates, and financial forecasts for projects.
  • Assist in managing procurement processes and tracking material usage.
  • Identify potential cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.


Project Monitoring and Reporting:

  • Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to schedules and timelines.
  • Prepare and present regular project status reports to stakeholders.
  • Identify and mitigate risks or delays affecting project delivery.


Quality and Safety Assurance:

  • Ensure all construction activities comply with safety standards and regulations.
  • Implement quality control measures and conduct inspections to maintain high standards.
  • Address and resolve non-compliance or quality issues promptly.


Collaboration and Communication:

  • Act as a liaison between the project team, contractors, clients, and other stakeholders.
  • Foster effective communication to ensure alignment and resolve conflicts efficiently.
  • Facilitate project meetings and document key decisions and action items.


Requirements:

  • Degree in a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years experience
