Job Summary

We are seeking a results-driven Project Manager with experience in the Energy, Marine, or Oil & Gas sectors to lead and deliver complex projects from initiation through completion. The ideal candidate will oversee planning, resource allocation, risk management, and stakeholder communication to ensure timely and cost-effective project execution in compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.

Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:

Project Planning:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive schedules for project mobilization and demobilization.
  • Collaborate with project managers, site engineers, logistics, and HSE teams to define activities, durations, and constraints.
  • Identify interdependencies and create baseline schedules, incorporating all critical path activities.


Monitoring and Control:

  • Continuously track progress against baseline schedules, updating as required.
  • Highlight deviations or potential delays and work proactively with teams to implement corrective actions.
  • Generate progress reports (daily, weekly, monthly) to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Perform schedule risk analysis to identify time-related risks.
  • Recommend mitigation plans for slippages and unplanned interruptions. 


Communication and Coordination:

  • Facilitate regular schedule review meetings.
  • Ensure effective communication of schedule changes to all impacted parties.


Procurement & Planning:

  • Develop the supply plan in coordination with project management, operations, and logistics teams.
  • Source key components such as transport trailers, cranes, , site prep materials, and support infrastructure.
  • Issue purchase orders, service agreements, and rental contracts aligned with project needs.


Logistics Coordination:

  • Manage inbound and outbound logistics, including routing, customs clearance, and staging.
  • Optimize truck dispatch, laydown yard management, and crane scheduling to minimize downtime.


Vendor Management:

  • Identify, prequalify, and manage a network of logistics providers and suppliers.
  • Monitor supplier performance, delivery timelines, and service quality
  • Negotiate rates and resolve disputes efficiently


HSE & Compliance:

  • Ensure all transportation and handling activities comply with company safety standards, legal regulations, and local transport laws.
  • Conduct audits and inspections of equipment and service providers.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related technical discipline.
  • 5–10 years of experience in project scheduling, preferably within the oil & gas or heavy equipment sector.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Teams & Project.
  • Excellent understanding of Critical Path Method (CPM) and resource leveling.
  • Strong communication, coordination, and analytical skills.
