Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities
  • Project Planning: Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation, ensuring alignment with client expectations and organizational goals.
  • Team Coordination: Collaborate with designers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution and adherence to design specifications.
  • Budget Management: Monitor project budgets, track expenditures, and manage cost overruns, ensuring profitability and financial efficiency.
  • Client Engagement: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular updates, addressing concerns, and ensuring satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Quality Assurance: Oversee on-site activities to ensure projects meet quality standards, safety protocols, and design intentions.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks and implement mitigation strategies to keep projects on track.
  • Documentation: Maintain detailed records of project progress, changes, and approvals for future reference and compliance purposes.
  • Vendor Management: Negotiate contracts and coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, Project Management, or a related field.
  • 5-7 years of experience in project management, preferably within the interior design or construction industry.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, delivering them on time and within budget.
  • Strong understanding of interior design processes, materials, and construction techniques.
  • Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Trello, or Asana) and design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp).
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of relevant building codes, safety standards, and regulations.
  • PMP or similar certification is an added advantage
