Job Summary
Our ecommerce business requires a project manager, Technology who will be responsible for planning, executing, and any technology-related projects within the organization. The candidate will be expected to manage the entire project and development life cycle which includes project scope, timelines, budgets, resources, and risks to ensure successful project delivery. The Project Manager will work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, testers, and business stakeholders, to achieve project objectives. This role requires strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills, as well as a solid understanding of technology and project management methodologies. An e-commerce experience is an added advantage

Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Project Planning: Develop detailed project plans, including scope definition, task breakdown, resource allocation, timelines, and budgets. Define clear project objectives and success criteria.
- Project Execution: Manage the execution of technology projects, ensuring that tasks are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. Track progress, monitor milestones, and manage dependencies.
- Scope Management: Define and manage project scope, ensuring that all requirements are clearly documented and agreed upon by stakeholders. Control scope creep and manage change requests effectively.
- Timeline Management: Develop and manage project schedules, ensuring that tasks are completed on time and that project deadlines are met. Use project management tools to track progress and identify potential delays.
- Budget Management: Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring that projects are delivered within budget constraints. Track expenses, monitor budget variances, and report on financial performance.
- Resource Management: Allocate and manage project resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials. Ensure that resources are effectively utilized and that project teams have the necessary tools and support.
- Risk Management: Identify and assess project risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize potential negative impacts. Proactively address risks and issues that arise during the project lifecycle.
- Communication: Communicate effectively with project stakeholders, including team members, management, and clients. Provide regular progress updates, address concerns, and ensure that everyone is informed.
- Quality Management: Implement quality assurance processes to ensure that project deliverables meet the required quality standards. Conduct testing and reviews to identify and resolve defects.
- Team Leadership: Lead and motivate project teams, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment. Provide guidance, support, and mentorship to team members.
- Vendor Management: (If applicable) Manage relationships with third-party vendors and contractors, ensuring that their work meets project requirements and deadlines.
- Project Closure: Close out projects effectively, documenting lessons learned and conducting post-project reviews. Ensure that all deliverables are handed over to the client or relevant stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 4+ years of experience in project management, preferably in the technology industry.
- Proven track record of successfully delivering technology projects on time and within budget.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Jira, Asana, Microsoft Project).
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Other Qualifications:
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or other Agile certifications.
- Experience in a specific technology domain relevant to the organization.
