Job Summary

SUBA Capital is seeking a dynamic and experienced Project Officer to oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of our Benin City office. This role is integral to ensuring the smooth execution of our various projects, including the Better Farming Project and Grass Root Marketing Campaigns. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a knack for project management, and the ability to drive operational efficiency. The Project Officer will report directly to the Chief of Operations (COO) and will play a key role in the strategic development and execution of our initiatives.

  • Experience Length : No Experience/Less than 1 year

Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the daily operations of the SUBA Capital Benin City office to ensure efficiency and productivity.
  • Implement and maintain office policies and procedures to improve operational performance.
  • Manage office logistics, including supplies, equipment, and facilities management.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and identify training needs for team members.
  • Facilitate effective communication across the team and ensure alignment with company objectives.
  • Assist the COO in developing and implementing strategic plans for operational improvements and business growth.
  • Coordinate and oversee special projects and initiatives as assigned by the COO.


Requirements:

  • HND/Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Project Management, or a related field.
  • 0-1 year experience in a project and operations management role, preferably within a similar industry.
  • Strong project management skills with a track record of successfully delivering projects.
  • Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
  • Exceptional organisational and multitasking skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
