Job Summary

Bridgemead Consulting is a holistic and innovative business consultancy that believes in connecting businesses with the right individuals. We are recruiting on behalf of our client, an architectural and interior design company in Victoria Island, for the position of Project Officer. As the Project Officer, it is your responsibility to ensure efficiency, and productivity across various departments involved in the execution of projects. You will ensure to track project tasks, milestones, and deliverables, monitor progress, and provide regular updates to the supervisors. You will be responsible for assisting teammates in creating project plans and allocating resources. You will communicate and collaborate with team members, ensuring everyone knows the project status and deadlines. To be successful in this role, you must be passionate about project coordination and management. Exceptional communication is key, to ensuring clear and concise information flow between teams and stakeholders.

Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the successful execution of projects within the organization.
  • Identify potential roadblocks that may affect project delivery quality and timeline and suggest ways to mitigate them.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with vendors and project stakeholders and address concerns by providing timely updates on project progress.
  • Collaborate and communicate effectively with teammates and clients alike to stay updated on projects, scope, deadlines, and milestones.
  • Collaborate with the finance team to monitor project budget and expenses, ensuring that expenditures are within approved limits and facilitating the completion of projects within the allocated budget, timeline, and objectives.
  • Maintain project documentation such as project plans, and change requests and present project progress reports as required.
  • Ensure project items and deliverables meet quality standards by liaising with the relevant team to conduct regular inspections and reviews
  • Document and provide data of the necessary information to ascertain the accuracy of the ongoing activities on every project.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute to the development and implementation of best practices and standardized project management methodologies.
  • Document project progress and maintain accurate records for future reference.
  • Other responsibilities may be assigned by the organization.


 Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2-3 years of proven experience as a project officer or in a similar role
  • BSc./BA in Project Management or any related course
  • Familiarity with the use of AutoCAD.
  • Problem-solving mindset and ability to take initiative.
  • Strong proficiency in the use of the Microsoft Office suite.
  • Understanding and strong working knowledge of the use of project management tools.
  • Project management.
  • A creative eye.

Location: VI, Lagos.

Remuneration: NGN 150,000 - 180,000
Work Mode: Hybrid
