Job Description/Requirements
- Secure funding for foundation initiatives by researching, identifying, and applying for donations from Foundations and Corporations.
- Develop and write well-structured and persuasive funding proposals that align with donor priorities and effectively communicate our programs' impact.
- Manage project lifecycles, including planning, scope definition, budget development, implementation, monitoring & evaluation, and reporting.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet established quality standards.
- Lead stakeholder engagement activities to gather project requirements, manage expectations, and ensure project alignment.
- Cultivate strong relationships with grantmakers, foundations, and other key stakeholders.
- Track project progress, monitor risks, and proactively identify and resolve issues.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of effective business development strategies.
- Stay informed about trends and developments in the funding landscape and adjust strategies accordingly.
- Coordinate with internal teams to gather data for funding proposals and project reports.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Project Management or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in project management within the Non-Profit Sector
- Proven track record of securing funding through grants or other fundraising initiatives.
- Proficiency in project management methodologies.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to tailor messages to different audiences.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Proficiency in Google Suite
