Project Quantity Surveyor

Responsibilities:

• Prepare cost estimates and budgets for construction projects.
• Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments.
• Monitor project costs to ensure they remain within budget.
• Prepare and analyze tenders and contracts.
• Manage and document variations in project scope and cost.
• Provide advice on cost management, procurement strategy, and contract management.
• Collaborate with project teams to ensure efficient and cost-effective project delivery.
• Prepare financial reports and forecasts for clients and stakeholders.
• Conduct site visits to monitor project progress and validate cost control measures.
• Negotiate contracts and resolve disputes.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation and industry standards.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Professional accreditation (e.g., MRICS, AIQS) is desirable.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in quantity surveying within the construction industry.
• Proficiency in quantity surveying software (e.g., CostX, Bluebeam, etc.).
• Strong analytical and numerical skills.
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
• Detailed knowledge of construction processes, materials, and methods.
• Strong organizational and project management skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
