As the Property Financing Officer, you will be the primary point of contact for clients seeking mortgage assistance. Leveraging your banking background and mortgage expertise, you’ll ensure that clients are matched with suitable lenders, help them complete application forms, and oversee the application journey until a final decision is reached.

Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Mortgage Process Management: Assist clients with every stage of the mortgage application, from gathering initial documents to final approval.
  • Client Onboarding: Assess client eligibility and ensure all KYC (Know Your Customer) and KYI (Know Your Income) requirements are met.
  • Lender Matching: Connect clients with appropriate banks from our established database, ensuring they’re matched with the best possible lending partners.
  • Application Documentation: Guide clients through completing mortgage application forms, ensuring all information is accurate and complete.
  • End-to-end Coordination: Communicate with banks to follow up on application status, address any issues, and keep clients updated on progress.
  • Industry Knowledge: Stay current on mortgage lending requirements, interest rate trends, and new bank policies to provide the best guidance to clients.

Requirements:

  • Banking Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a bank or financial institution, preferably with direct exposure to mortgage products or loan processing.
  • Mortgage Application Expertise: Strong familiarity with mortgage application forms and requirements, ensuring all documents meet lender standards.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree or its equivalent in Finance, Banking, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Detail-oriented: Ability to manage the financial documentation process accurately and effectively.
  • Client-focused: Excellent interpersonal skills to support and guide clients through the mortgage process with clarity and professionalism.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong ability to assess client financials and match them with suitable financing options.
