Job Summary

The Proposal Coordinator will be responsible for managing and coordinating the preparation, submission, and tracking of company proposals to Clients. This individual will also follow up on pending applications and ensure timely submission to designated institutions or clients. The role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while adhering to deadlines.

Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Follow up on pending applications and provide timely updates on their status.
  • Coordinate the submission of proposals to specific organizations, institutions, or clients as directed.
  • Review proposal requirements and ensure that all necessary documentation and attachments are included.
  • Maintain a calendar of proposal submission deadlines and ensure that all deadlines are met.
  • Work closely with internal teams to gather information and materials needed for proposal preparation.
  • Communicate with clients or third parties to clarify proposal requirements or submission details.
  • Keep records of all submitted proposals, including copies of the proposals and correspondence.
  • Track the progress of submitted proposals and follow up with relevant parties to obtain updates or results.
  • Assist in improving the proposal process to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Provide administrative support related to proposals, such as preparing reports or summaries for management.


Requirements:

  • Minimum of a National Diploma in Business, Administration, Communications, or a related field (Option of relevant experience in the field is considerable).
  • Proven experience in a similar role (e.g., administrative, project coordination, or proposal management).
  • Experience in managing proposals and applications for organizations is a plus.


Skills:

  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other relevant software.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with diverse teams.


Other Requirements:

  • Ability to work independently and take initiative.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Flexibility to travel to specific locations for proposal submission, if necessary.


Location: Port Harcourt

Remuneration: NGN 60,000 - 85,000 (based on the candidate’s level of experience)
