Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor to join our team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in managing all aspects of the contractual and financial side of our projects. This position is ideal for a professional with a strong analytical mindset, excellent negotiation skills, and a passion for delivering

Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare cost estimates, budgets, and bills of quantities for projects.
  • Conduct feasibility studies and cost analyses for proposed projects.
  • Monitor and control project budgets, ensuring cost efficiency and profitability.
  • Prepare tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities.
  • Liaise with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and smooth project delivery.
  • Assess project risks and provide advice on financial and contractual matters.
  • Conduct regular site visits to assess project progress and ensure compliance with agreed-upon budgets and timelines.
  • Negotiate and manage variations, claims, and disputes.
  • Provide regular reports on financial performance, forecasts, and cost-saving initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with legal and contractual obligations.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • 5 years of experience in quantity surveying.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations.
  • Proficiency in cost estimation software and tools (e.g., CostX, Bluebeam, or similar).
  • Excellent analytical and numerical skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Professional membership with [e.g., RICS, AIQS, or equivalent] is highly desirable.
