Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Conduct cost analysis and budget estimation for construction projects.
- Prepare tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities.
- Negotiate contracts, procure materials, and monitor project expenditures.
- Ensure compliance with legal, safety, and quality standards.
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, and project managers.
- Evaluate project risks and provide financial guidance to optimize costs.
- Maintain up-to-date records of all financial transactions related to projects.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in construction cost estimation.
- Strong analytical and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in cost estimation software such as AutoCAD, MS Excel, and QS-related tools.
- Membership with professional bodies (e.g., NIQS, RICS) is an advantage.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
