Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Prepare cost estimates, budgets, and bills of quantities for construction projects.
- Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments.
- Monitor and control project costs to ensure they remain within budget.
- Prepare tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities.
- Evaluate and negotiate contracts with contractors and suppliers.
- Conduct site visits to monitor progress and ensure compliance with specifications.
- Provide advice on contractual claims and disputes.
- Prepare and present reports on project progress and financial status.
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Diploma/Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Proven 4-5 Years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations.
- Excellent analytical and numerical skills.
- Proficiency in cost estimation software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
