Duties And Responsibilities
- Oversee the entire production process in the Cement Mill to ensure adherence to quality standards and production targets
- Monitor and control the mill's operational parameters for optimal performance
- Ensure the maintenance of equipment and machinery to prevent breakdowns and reduce downtime
- Manage the kiln feed quality and ensure compliance with specifications
- Coordinate with the quality control team to ensure all products meet company and regulatory standards
- Lead and train production staff on best practices and safety procedures
- Identify areas for process improvement and implement solutions to enhance production efficiency
- Prepare reports on production performance and submit to management for review
- Facilitate effective communication between departments to ensure smooth operations
Educational Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
- Relevant postgraduate qualifications or certifications will be an advantage
- Minimum of ten years (10) years of experience in cement production, with at least three years in a supervisory role
- Strong understanding of cement production processes and operation of cement mills
- Excellent leadership and team management abilities
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in production management software and tools

- Ability to work well under pressure and make informed decisions swiftly
