About The Role
As a RD&A Senior Scientist, you will play a key role in developing and applying innovative beverage solutions. You will manage projects from concept to commercialization, ensuring product quality, customer satisfaction, and food safety.
Key responsibilities
- Project Management: Lead applied research and technology innovation projects in the beverage sector.
- Sensory Evaluation: Manage beverage sample evaluations and support beverage application using various equipment and processes.
- Customer Focus: Collaborate with internal and external customers to understand their needs and develop solutions, troubleshooting challenges throughout the product lifecycle.
- Recipe Development: Develop and refine new product application recipes, applying scientific principles to optimize taste and functionality.
- Product & Raw Material Management: Maintain adequate stock of standardized products and raw materials, ensuring quality and availability.
- Ingredient Validation: Validate the functionality of ingredients in final products, conducting shelf-life studies to ensure product stability and food safety.
- Documentation: Meticulously record all research findings, test results, and project details according to established protocols.
- Laboratory Skills: Possess hands-on laboratory experience and proficiency in data analysis.
Qualifications And Skills
- Minimum bachelor's degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Food Engineering, Chemistry, Microbiology, Biotechnology, or a related Applied Science.
- Strong knowledge of food science principles, ingredients, and recipe formulation.
- Prior experience in a laboratory, food processing plant, or food industry (minimum 5 years).
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively within a diverse team environment.
- Meticulous attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and numerical proficiency.
- Innovative and creative problem-solving approach to address customer challenges.
- Effective communication with people at all levels of the organization.
