Real Estate Architect

Responsibilities:

• Develop architectural designs for new projects, renovations, and redevelopments, preparing structure specifications, ensuring alignment with client needs, regulatory requirements, and project budgets.
• Oversee architectural projects from concept through completion, including coordination with contractors, engineers, and other stakeholders.
• Keep within proposed budgets and timelines
• Creating and maintaining project progress reports
• Co-ordinating work among construction workers, contractors and engineers
• Work closely with clients to understand their vision and requirements, providing expert advice and maintaining strong client relationships.
• Conduct site evaluations and feasibility studies to determine design potential and constraints.
• Regulatory Compliance: ensure all designs comply with local building codes, zoning laws, and other regulations. Presenting developments and plans for approval.
• Prepare and review architectural drawings, specifications, and project documentation.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture from an accredited institution.
• 1 year+ experience in architectural design, particularly in real estate development.
• Strong knowledge of building codes, zoning regulations, and construction practices.
• Proficiency in 3D rendering software and architectural software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
