Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Identify and attract potential tenants for vacant commercial and residential properties.
- Secure new property sales and leasing opportunities for Shelter Nest Realty.
- Facilitate negotiations between buyers and sellers, ensuring transparent communication and fostering mutually beneficial agreements.
- Conduct property appraisals through comprehensive market research or analysis of past transactions, providing clients with accurate advice when necessary.
- Finalize property transactions, including purchases and sales, on behalf of Shelter Nest Realty clients, contributing to the company’s financial growth.
- Prepare all necessary contractual and legal documentation related to property leases, sales, and purchases.
- Accompany potential buyers on property visits and inspections, offering insights into the property’s suitability and value.
- Coordinate title searches to verify the clarity of property titles for clients.
- Assess clients' financial and creditworthiness to determine their eligibility for financing and the source of funding.
- Develop tailored proposals for both current and prospective clients, addressing their specific property needs.
Requirements:
- 1st degree in Estate Management or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years experience as a real estate broker.
- Proficient in using marketing tools and strategies, including social media and local advertising, to promote properties effectively.
- Skilled at managing multiple client negotiations, coordinating with agents and involved parties, and preparing relevant documents efficiently.
- Strong ability to close deals, follow up on leads, and drive sales success.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, essential for preparing documents, engaging with clients, and interacting with real estate professionals.
- In-depth understanding of current real estate laws and regulations.
- Strong negotiation skills, with the ability to resolve conflicts and reach beneficial agreements for all parties.
- Extensive understanding of the real estate market in Lagos and familiarity with current industry standards.
- Ability to identify, assess, and mitigate risks, while making informed recommendations to address potential issues.
- Proficient in delivering compelling presentations and pitches to clients and stakeholders.
- Excellent organizational capabilities and the ability to collaborate effectively in a multi-geographic team environment.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and ever-evolving work environment.
- Strong capability to work autonomously and also collaborate well with stakeholders.
- Excellent skills in conducting market research to stay informed of trends and opportunities.
