Job Summary
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Field Regional Sales Merchandiser to join our team in Lagos. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring our products are effectively displayed, stocked, and promoted in retail outlets across assigned territories. This role requires strong organizational skills, a customer-focused attitude, and the ability to work independently to improve product availability and brand presence.

Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Product Display & Merchandising: Ensure that all products are attractively displayed and properly stocked in retail outlets to maximize visibility and drive sales.
- Retail Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with store owners and staff to secure premium shelf space and gain support for promotional activities.
- Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels in stores, manage inventory rotation, and ensure products are fresh and well-organized.
- Promotional Support: Implement promotional activities in retail outlets, including setting up displays, distributing promotional materials, and educating store staff on product benefits.
- Field Reporting: Collect and report key data on product performance, customer preferences, competitor activities, and store feedback to the Sales Manager.
- Sales Target Achievement: Support the achievement of regional sales targets by ensuring optimal product presentation and availability in retail outlets.
- Market Intelligence: Monitor competitors' activities in assigned territory and report on pricing, promotions, and new products.
- Daily Route Planning: Plan and execute daily visit schedules for maximum coverage and efficiency across assigned retail outlets in Lagos neighborhoods.
Requirements:
- Education: OND or HND in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field. Experience may be considered in lieu of formal education.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in merchandising or field sales, preferably in the FMCG or retail industry.
- Knowledge: Familiarity with Lagos retail environment and neighborhood dynamics.
- Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.
- Organization & Time Management: Ability to manage multiple stores, routes, and tasks efficiently.
- Physical Requirements: This role involves significant fieldwork, so candidates should be comfortable with standing, walking, and lifting light merchandise.
- Goal-Oriented: Demonstrated ability to meet merchandising standards and contribute to sales goals.
