Job- Sales operations manager
Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and results-driven Sales Operations Manager to oversee and enhance our sales operations in the fintech industry. In this role, you will be responsible for streamlining sales processes, analyzing performance metrics, and developing strategies to support our sales team. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with company goals and drive operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
• Sales Process Management: Optimize and document sales processes, identify gaps, and implement improvements to ensure efficiency and consistency across the sales team.
• Performance Analysis: Track key sales metrics, analyze trends, and provide actionable insights to sales leadership for strategic planning and decision-making.
• CRM and Data Management: Maintain and manage CRM systems, ensure data integrity, and train team members on best practices for using CRM tools effectively.
• Sales Forecasting and Reporting: Develop accurate sales forecasts and regularly report on performance against targets to ensure alignment with business goals.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Work with marketing, product, and finance teams to align sales strategies with company objectives and improve overall sales effectiveness.
• Incentive and Compensation Management: Manage sales incentive programs, commission structures, and performance-based rewards to motivate and retain top talent.
• Process Automation and Technology: Identify and implement sales tools and automation to increase efficiency, reduce errors, and improve the sales experience.
• Onboarding and Training: Develop and manage training programs to onboard new sales team members, ensuring they are equipped with the necessary tools and resources to succeed.
• Full support & operational 2IC for Head of Sales & the wider growth team to field all main inquiries across the network & escalate across our various operational channels.
• Provide full Business Intelligence support/requests/data digestion for the Head of Sales.
• Provide a primary buffer between the Head of sales and many of the operational challenges in order for him to focus on the growth task at hand.
• Provide a key man risk mitigant should the Head of Sales not be available.
• Maintain the Red Biller relationship (Only relationship at a senior level) as stated but with key support from the VAS team for all operational / implementation requirements relating to Red Biller.
• Raising and following up with the project. Escalation, working with the RMs, meeting with RMs daily. Strategies. Meeting with tech. Dailly trackers.
• Review the report and ensure Conveyance payments are made.
Qualifications: • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Experience: 3+ years in sales operations, sales management, or a similar role, preferably in fintech, SaaS, or a tech-driven environment.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and sales analytics tools; familiarity with data visualization platforms (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is a plus.
• Analytical Mindset: Strong data analysis skills with the ability to interpret complex sales data and generate actionable insights.
• Project Management: Experience in managing multiple projects and priorities with a results-driven approach.
• Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively across departments.
• Problem-Solving Abilities: Proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues, enhancing sales productivity, and implementing best practices.
Preferred Skills: • Fintech Knowledge: Familiarity with financial products, regulatory requirements, or industry-specific sales processes.
• Salesforce Certified: A certification in Salesforce administration or other CRM tools is a plus.
• Agile Methodologies: Understanding of agile project management principles to adapt quickly to changing business needs.
