Our client, a leading insurance company, is looking for a Relationship Manager with over 3+ years commercial experience selling to brokers.
The role entails
- Relationship management and maintaining close rapport between the company and its clients.
- Analyze risks and develop solutions for clients’ needs as well as collate, sort, process, and interpret any request relating to life and non-life business & Operations.
- Prompt service delivery that supports great customer experiences and operational efficiency towards market leadership and is a key advocate of employee optimization.
- These objectives will be achieved through effective:
- Managing the business relationship with various brokers/ customers and partners through the Relationship Officers.
- Increase premium Income from various brokers/ customers/ partners on our General Business, Group Life, and Group Deposit Administration
- Pitch pack/ proposal document for the target client/ client segment for New business acquisition
- Ensure 100% renewal of Existing General Business, Group Life and Group Deposits Schemes
- Follow-up of outstanding Credit Notes and pending premium reconciliation with Brokers/Clients/Partners
- Drive growth through increased focus on SMEs and smaller corporates while effectively managing the public sector portfolio
- Increase policy count from various brokers/ customers/ partners
- Acquiring retaining & building a long-term relationship with a targeted audience
- Increase General Business/Life database thereby guaranteeing huge prospects optimizing growth & profitability
- Proactive review of achievable & competitive activities in the market
- Maintaining persistent follow-up plans to ensure continuity of patronage.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent from a recognized University (Business Related preferred)
- 3+ years’ work experience in the insurance sector.
- Exposure to digital business models like e-commerce, B2B, and B2C marketplaces is desirable.
- Must have hands-on Sales and practical experience in relationship management in a corporate organization
- Strong experience in consumer-facing product management and design thinking
- Demonstrated actual practice in providing practical solutions to people's problems
- A proven knowledge of all aspects of Life Business and the ability to engage and build meaningful relationships.
