Reporter

Responsibilities:

General:

• Story Generation and Research: Identify and develop compelling news story ideas relevant to their assigned beat and the agency's focus areas. Conduct thorough research using various sources, including interviews, documents, data, and online resources.
• Interviewing and Source Development: Conduct insightful interviews with industry experts, government officials, analysts, and other relevant sources. Develop and maintain a strong network of reliable sources.
• Writing and Reporting: Write clear, concise, accurate, and engaging news stories, features, and analyses. Meet deadlines and adhere to the agency's style and editorial guidelines. Incorporate multimedia elements (photos, videos, data visualizations) into stories where appropriate.
• Ethical Reporting: Adhere strictly to ethical reporting standards, ensuring accuracy, fairness, and impartiality. Verify information meticulously and attribute sources appropriately.
• Digital Engagement: Understand how to write and format content for online platforms. Engage with readers on social media and respond to feedback professionally. Stay informed about digital storytelling trends and tools.
• Collaboration: Work closely with editors and other team members to develop and execute coverage plans. Share information and insights with colleagues.

Business Reporters:

• Cover corporate news, financial markets, industry trends, and entrepreneurial activities.
• Analyze business data and financial reports.
• Report on the impact of government policies on businesses.

Politics Reporter:

• Cover government activities, legislative processes, political campaigns, and elections.
• Report on policy debates and political analysis.
• Analyze political trends and developments.

Economy Reporter:

• Cover economic policies, fiscal and monetary issues, and macroeconomic trends.
• Analyze economic data and reports from government agencies and international organizations.

Requirements:
