Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Restaurant & Lounge Manager to oversee their upscale dining and entertainment venue. The ideal candidate will combine hospitality expertise with entertainment venue management skills to create exceptional guest experiences while maintaining profitability across both restaurant and lounge operations.

Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily operations of both restaurant and lounge areas
  • Ensure seamless transition between dining and evening entertainment
  • Coordinate special events, live performances, and DJ nights
  • Maintain appropriate ambiance throughout different service periods
  • Manage venue capacity and seating arrangements
  • Oversee security operations and guest safety
  • Coordinate with entertainment providers and performers
  • Maintain all necessary permits and licenses
  • Ensure excellence in food and beverage service across all areas
  • Manage premium spirits and cocktail programs
  • Oversee wine list and beverage menu development
  • Monitor food quality and presentation standards
  • Coordinate with Executive Chef on menu development
  • Manage inventory for both restaurant and bar operations
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards
  • Maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors
  • Recruit, train, and manage staff across all positions Servers, bartenders, hosts/hostesses, Security personnel, Entertainment staff, Kitchen staff
  • Create staff schedules for both restaurant and lounge operations
  • Conduct regular staff training on service standards
  • Manage performance and provide ongoing feedback
  • Foster a professional and collaborative work environment
  • Handle staff conflicts and disciplinary issues
  • Ensure proper grooming and uniform standards
  • Maintain premium service standards across all operations
  • Handle VIP guest arrangements and special requests
  • Manage guest lists and reservations
  • Oversee bottle service operations
  • Handle customer feedback and complaints
  • Build relationships with regular clients
  • Implement loyalty programs
  • Monitor and maintain appropriate dress code standards
  • Achieve revenue targets for both restaurant and lounge
  • Manage costs and optimize profitability
  • Set and monitor pricing strategies
  • Handle cash management procedures
  • Process payroll and manage labor costs
  • Analyze sales data and adjust strategies
  • Manage multiple revenue streams (food, beverage, cover charges)
  • Track and report key performance indicators
  • Develop and implement marketing strategies
  • Manage social media presence and online reputation
  • Plan and execute special events and promotions
  • Coordinate private events and corporate functions
  • Build relationships with local businesses and promoters
  • Monitor competitors and market trends
  • Create themed nights and special promotions
  • Manage event calendar and promotional schedule


Requirements:

  • 3+ years of hospitality management experience
  • Experience in both restaurant and lounge/bar management
  • Strong knowledge of food and beverage operations
  • Valid food safety and alcohol service certifications
  • Experience with POS and booking systems
  • Proven track record in premium venue management
  • Strong financial acumen and business understanding


Additional skills:

  • Degree in Hospitality Management or related field

  • Strong wine and spirits knowledge
